Who we are
FieldAgent runs this site and decides how the data on this page is used. To ask anything about your data, write to hello@fieldagent.tech.
When you visit
- Hosting. Cloudflare hosts this site. Like any web server, it receives your IP address and browser details so it can send you the page and protect the site from attacks.
- Visitor counts. Cloudflare Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without following you to other sites. We see totals, such as page views and countries, and never who you are.
- Nothing else. Fonts, styles and scripts come from this site. The only outside request your browser makes is for the visitor count script.
- Your browser. The site keeps two small values in your browser's session storage, so the heading animation does not replay on every page. They are deleted when you close the tab and are never sent to us.
Cloudflare may process this data outside your country, under the safeguards in its data processing terms.
When you write to us
We receive your email address, your name if you give it and what you write. We use it only to reply, and to set up a pilot if you ask for one. We keep it while we are in touch and delete it two years after our last exchange, or sooner if you ask. Our email provider stores the messages for us.
Pilot data
Tickets and logs an operator sends for a pilot are anonymized before they leave its network. We handle them under a written agreement with that operator, use them only for the pilot and delete them afterwards. See How a Pilot Works.
Why we may do this
Running and protecting the site, counting visits and answering your messages are our legitimate interests. We process pilot data because the operator's agreement asks us to. We never sell your data, and we never use it for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask us to show, correct or delete the data we hold about you, or object to how we use it. Write to hello@fieldagent.tech and we will answer within one month. If you live in the EU or the UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
